On February 2 a young 22-year-old male by the name of Amir Locke was murdered by Minneapolis Police. The police were executing a no-knock warrant in a homicide case and Amir was somehow killed despite the fact the arrest warrant was not for him. After initially refusing to do so, the MPD finally released the body cam footage. This has outraged the community and increased calls to ban no-knock warrants.
The FBI announced they are investigating a meeting that occurred in a garage in DC on January 5, 2021 between extreme Right Groups Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.
Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy made a shocking statement on Wednesday about January 6, 2021. He said, “I think anybody, we all know this, that entered this building, that rioted, is not a legitimate discourse.” Up until now, he had denied anyone had done anything wrong at the Capitol.
